The proposed new Energy Code, IECC 2015, requires tighter envelope and ducts.
Currently in GA, <7 ACH50 is required to pass blower door test. A recent study shows that builders were averaging <5 ACH5o or below. Our representative to Energy Code Task Force, Neal Davis, needs to know if this is an accurate reflection.

What are the numbers YOU are receiving on blower door test? What size house?

Also the 2012 IRC requires the introduction of outside air if blower door number below <5 ACH50. If you are reaching these numbers, what methods or products are you using to bring in outside air?

Please respond ASAP.
